Golf Instruction

Kyle Richerson

As a long-time golf enthusiast and amateur player, my passion is the golf business.  From being a bit of a gearhead to a competitive player, I love everything about the game.  Growing up as a competitive baseball player, to transitioning to teaching golf, I have had the ability to learn from the best.  My background as a competitive athlete allows me to bring a well-rounded approach to understanding how our body moves athletically in the golf swing.  As an instructor for the Harvey Penick Golf Academy in Austin, Texas, I was privileged to teach and learn from some of the best in the business.  As a student of the game, I love being able to look at a golf swing and quickly diagnose the key “big swing mistakes” and address them quickly.  From juniors to accomplished players, I can help make your golf swing better and, in turn you a better player.   If you’ve ever wanted to have the luxury of taking a lesson before work, on your lunch break, or after the kids go to bed while having a cocktail, I can facilitate all those options.  Essentially 24/7 availability in a state-of-the-art facility, we can make your golf goals a reality.

Cass Sigmon

Since I was 7 years old and hit my first shot with a persimmon Cleveland spoon 2-wood, I have been hooked on the game. I was a competitive junior player before putting the clubs down to pursue a professional career in Martial Arts competition and instruction. After injuries derailed my competitive martial arts journey, I found myself again picking up my passion in the Low Country. I have worked at Rivertowne Country Club, Bulls Bay Golf Club, Congaree Golf Club, and Cherokee Plantation. Luckily, I have had the opportunity to learn from the very best in the business in the area. Over the past 7 years, I have been competing in both amateur and professional events, working on improving my own game, but more importantly, gaining the skills and knowledge so that I can pass them along. I believe that everyone can improve, but very few understand the process of skill development. I am excited to help guide people through that process so that they can reach their goals and potential in this game that we all love.
